Notarize a Real Estate Purchase Addendum Over Zoom from China
Purchase agreement riders and addendums sometimes require notarization, especially when they amend signed financing terms or contingencies. We handle the live signing and notarization on Zoom.
Why this is hard to DIY
- ! An unnotarized amendment can be treated as informal and rejected at closing.
- ! Both parties to the amendment usually need to be on the call. We can coordinate that across time zones.
What you get for $499
- ✓ A scheduled 30 minute Zoom session with a US commissioned notary.
- ✓ Pre flight document review so the wording, signature blocks, and jurat language pass on the first try.
- ✓ A US recognized notarized document, ready in under 24 hours.
- ✓ Optional paper original couriered to your recipient, quoted up front.
To start, we just need:
- → Unsigned addendum or rider.
- → Both parties contact information if multi party signing.
- → Photo of your US passport.
- → Number of signers on the document.
- → Your filing or closing deadline.

What does the $499 cover? +
One document, one signer, one Zoom session of about 30 minutes, and your US recognized notarization. Pre flight document review is included.
What if I have more than one document, or more than one signer? +
Stack everything into the same Zoom session. Tell us how many documents and how many people sign, and we send you one exact total before you pay. No separate sessions needed.
Do I need a physical wet ink original mailed to my US recipient? +
Usually no. The notarized document is accepted nationwide by title companies and courts, and by banks and federal agencies. If your specific recipient demands the paper original, we courier one. We quote it up front, courier included, to any address in the US or China. About 5 days door to door.
Can you do it today? +
Sometimes. Notary slots run mornings China time. If you ask after noon and a slot opens, same day is an extra $199. We tell you within the hour whether it is possible, and there is no charge if it is not.
What if my recipient rejects the notarized document? +
If it gets rejected because of something we should have caught in pre flight review, we redo the notarization at no charge. If your recipient changes their requirements after the fact, we work with you on a fair fix.
