Notarize a US Promissory Note Over Zoom from China
Promissory notes document a loan and the terms of repayment. Notarization is required when the note is secured by real estate, recorded with a deed of trust, or required by your lender. We handle it on Zoom from anywhere in China.
Why this is hard to DIY
- ! Lenders and title companies require US recognized notarization. A foreign stamp will be rejected.
- ! When the note is paired with a deed of trust or mortgage, both documents need to be signed in the same session for the closing package.
- ! The maker (borrower) must appear live. Co signers and guarantors usually need to as well.

Frequently asked
Can the maker, co signer, and guarantor all join one Zoom? +
Yes. Multi signer sessions are standard. Each person needs to be on camera with their two IDs. Each additional signer is $99 to cover ID verification.
Does it matter what US state the note is governed by? +
Not for the notarization itself. The notary is commissioned in a US state that allows remote online notarization, and the resulting document is recognized in all 50 states.
